Every life is created by God, fearfully and wonderfully made in His image, on purpose for a purpose. But are they all equally valuable? How does our culture’s response to different kinds of deaths reflect how it values life? Are we, the children of God, paying attention to the pervasive and commonplace evil that manipulates us into valuing some lives over others? How do we protect our minds from this subtle psychological distortion and take steps to honor all of God’s creations?
Genesis 1: 27 & 31: So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.
After making this video, I heard from a loved one who relayed a story of her interaction during a church meeting discussing reopening strategies. She mentioned the number of deaths caused by vaccines as reported, and the church’s medical representative cooly replied, “Some people will have a bad reaction. You have to expect that.” Expect it, perhaps, but must we accept it? Do we truly and honestly believe that this is God’s will – that this is the one best way to mitigate the disease of Covid-19? To cause thousands of deaths and permanent injuries to healthy people? If these were puppies dropping dead, there would be massive public outrage. If it were lettuce causing these deaths, there would be swift government action and cried for justice. What level of evil have we been duped into accepting? Or even complicit in promoting?
